TAG Heuer ladies and men watches elevate swiss watches timekeeping to an art.

Recognised the world over for both craftsmanship and accuracy, Swiss watches are synonymous with luxury watches… and within this remarkable universe, TAG Heuer timepieces stand as the peak achievement in watchmaking. With progressive designs and technological innovation, they represent more than mere sports watches or luxury timepieces – they embody a class apart.

Indeed, TAG Heuer chronograph watches stand alone as the summit of Swiss watch timekeeping accuracy. In a sublime union of speed and precision, the company is the official partner of Oracle Team USA – champion of the America’s Cup – and of renowned Formula 1 car manufacture McLaren. In addition, its luxury sport watches serve as the official timekeepers of the Monaco Grand Prix – one of the most illustrious races in the world.

Timelessly elegant yet decidedly modern, a TAG Heuer watch combines hand workmanship with the best in cutting-edge technology, for ladies’ and men’s watches representing rich heritage, distinctive quality and novel developments. With automatic watches that feature high frequencies between 21,600 and 360,000 vibrations per hour (as with the Calibre 360), exceptional mechanical accuracy is not the exception, but the rule. As such, numerous automatic watch movements by TAG Heuer boast the respected Official Swiss Chronometer Control (C.O.S.C.) certificate.

From an aesthetic standpoint, TAG Heuer timepieces are no less remarkable. These luxury Swiss watches bring together a perfect union of premium materials selected and crafted by expert specialists. By combining the very best traditional materials, like lustrous gold, resistant steel, supple calfskin or the finest alligator leather, or by accentuating them with the latest modern innovations, such as state-of-the-art rubber and textiles, TAG Heuer erases the lines between the conventional perceptions of sports and luxury watches. Quality finishes that include black PVD finish, delicate brushing and ruthenium coating are as distinguished as they are inventive, and as aesthetically pleasing as they are practical.

Equally outstanding are TAG Heuer swiss watches for women – the perfect embodiment of discrete sophistication. Its diamond watches, for instance, bring a hint of dazzling femininity to the legendary men’s watch models on which the TAG Heuer name was built: the Monaco, the Aquaracer, the TAG Heuer Carrera, the Link and the TAG Heuer Formula 1. Stylish ladies’ timepieces boasting sumptuous materials and restrained lines, these feats of watchmaking perpetuate the expert artistry and flawless precision that have marked the brand’s identity for over one hundred years.

Visually beautiful, unequivocally dependable, perfectly fashioned, elegantly avant-garde…TAG Heuer watches go far beyond luxury or precision timepieces; they are the summit in Swiss skill and expertise, thrust boldly forward into the unknown to redefine swiss ladies and men watches.

27 May. TAG heuer Enters the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix

TAG Heuer’s “Mastering Speed for 150 Years” celebration reaches its pinnacle in Monaco for the F1 Grand Prix from May 26th to May 29th, 2011.

As part of its 2011 “Mastering Speed” commemoration of its most famous source of inspiration — a century and a half of professional motorsports — TAG Heuer is now an official partner of the Monaco Grand Prix, the world’s most glamorous race organized by Automobile Club of Monaco (ACM).

The historical agreement was formally signed on May 27th, 2011 on the legendary starting grid of the Grand Prix by Jean-Christophe Babin, President and CEO of TAG Heuer, and Michel Boéri, President of the Automobile Club of Monaco.

As the Official Watch and Eyewear of the Monaco Grand Prix, TAG Heuer will have a visible presence throughout this year’s race, with TAG Heuer flags prominently displayed on bridges and trackside and a special starting-grid event showcasing the famous Formula One “grid girls”. At the start of the race, the 24 stunning women will hold up boards bearing the racecar drivers’ names while wearing Formula 1 Lady Steel and Ceramic watches, TAG Heuer Avant-Garde eyewear and specially designed TAG Heuer mini-dresses inspired by Steve McQueen’s racing suit in the movie Le Mans.

“Partnering with the Automobile Club of Monaco for the Grand Prix in this important year is a great honour,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of TAG Heuer. “We look forward to working side by side with the ACM in their pits and paddocks, and to promoting their prestigious race throughout the TAG Heuer world.”

“Mastering Speed is critical at Monaco,” said Michel Boéri, President of the ACM. “It’s even a symbol of our race, which has only one trajectory, straight between the track barriers. The best drivers are those able to ‘’feel’’ their cars around the track, racing at the limit in pursuit of the perfect lap. This same drive motivates TAG Heuer, making them the obvious choice as our official partner. We welcome this opportunity to share in their celebrations of 150 years of motor racing, and to continue to grow together long term.’’

“TAG Heuer has now established itself as the key watch brand of the most important tracks and events in motorsports,” said Jean-Christophe Babin. “Through our partnerships with the ACM at Monaco Grand Prix, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes in F1, Audi Sport for Le Mans and Endurance races, and our longstanding role as Official Watch of the mythical Indy 500, TAG Heuer is precisely where it wants to be in the 3 most iconic races — in pole position.”

TAG Heuer will actively promote the Monaco Grand Prix partnership with a dedicated advertising campaign spearheaded by an exciting new television commercial which will be broadcast in several countries during the race.

For the Grand Prix, TAG Heuer proudly supports the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team and its World Champions TAG Heuer ambassadors. As Jenson did it in 2009, winning at Monaco is a great achievement and a memory for life. TAG Heuer wishes them all the best for the 2011 Monaco Grand Prix.
